HOW TO CLEAN YOUR VAPE TANK AND COIL

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO CLEAN YOUR VAPE?

electronic cigarette that needs cleaning Regular cleaning and maintenance of you vape device is important not only to help keep your vape experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible, but also to ensure that every part of you vape works as it should.

Taking your vape apart to clean it allows you to take a good look at all the important parts of your vaporizer and make sure everything looks as it should. Of course, in addition to this, a clean vaporizer simply works better than one clogged with debris and dirt.

Clogged tanks and coils mean you are not getting the same level of airflow through your device, resulting in poor cloud production and unsatisfactory inhalation.

the Residues from e-liquids can also alter the taste of your vaporizer., resulting in a bitter, burnt taste, or some pretty nasty combinations, which is the last thing you want when you’re trying an exciting new flavor for the first time!

It’s hygienic too – many of us keep our fumes in pockets, desks, or bags, which we all know are not the cleanest environments, especially for something that is going to be put in our mouth and inhaled.

When you get a new vaporizer, you may feel the inhale velvety smooth for a while, but you may find that after a month or two, the quality of your experience drops a bit.

This means it’s time to clean up!

If you are a regular vaper, you should try cleaning your vaporizer once a week, if possible. However, if you really can’t stand it, once a month will be enough to keep you vape working fairly consistently.

  • -You should keep an eye on both the vaporizer tank and the vaporizer coils, which are the parts of your vaporizer that will need regular cleaning to maintain peak performance!
  • -You should also clean your mouthpiece as regularly as possible to make sure there are no germs or bacteria in your mouth.

Fortunately, even though you should clean your vaporizer regularly, it doesn’t have to take long for everything to work at its optimum level,it’s quick and easy to clean your vaporizer with a few simple methods.

How to Clean Your Vape Tank

One of the most important parts of your vaporizer to clean is the vaporizer tank. Your tank is the part of the vape device that contains your e-liquid, so you really should clean it every time you refill it.

If you are swapping out the e-liquid, this makes perfect sense, after all, you really don’t want its rich tobacco flavor to be interrupted by the sweet taste of cola! As nice as they are individually, the combination isn’t exactly what you’re looking for.

However, even if you are simply refilling the same flavor, you should still clean your tank as it will prevent sticky residue from building up and ruining your vape performance.

Fill a large container with warm water and separate your tank, removing any residual e-liquid as you do so.

Take the paper out of your tank and then wash them, just like you would your dishes. If your vape looks particularly worse from wear and tear, you can add a few drops of liquid detergent to remove stubborn dirt.

Then pat dry with a paper towel and allow the parts to air dry for about 15 minutes, to make sure all the moisture has evaporated, and put the steamer back together, ready to steam again.

From time to time we recommend that you thoroughly clean it with a little alcohol to remove any remaining residue. The process is pretty similar, but instead of dipping the components, just wipe them off with a paper towel or damp cloth and heavy-duty unflavored rubbing alcohol (vodka or rubbing alcohol works great!).

If you do come across a particularly stubborn residue, keep scrubbing until everything is gone, then clean and rinse its components with warm water. Then air dry as usual and put everything back together for a clean vape.

Now it’s worth mentioning that you vape coils will eventually burn out and need to be replaced, no matter how well you care for them. If your coil wick has burned out or has reached the end of its life, no amount of cleaning will bring it back, but if it has only been briefly or slightly overheated, or clogged with e-liquid residue, a good cleaning can give your steam coils a new life!

If you are not sure, try operating the coil with a strong bang for a minute or so. If the discoloration seems to be improving, it’s time for a cleanup. However, if your wick remains as dark and burned as before, it is probably time to quit.

Then fill a bowl with the alcohol of your choice just enough to cover your coils.

Cover with a towel to prevent evaporation and leave it overnight, or for as long as possible. Once they have been well soaked and you can see the discoloration in the container, hold them under a hot tap for a few minutes again to remove any final residue, and then rinse in a container of distilled water.

Finally, blow through your coils or point a hair dryer on low medium heat to remove any excess water and allow to air dry until completely dry.

It’s as simple as that!

Just a few steps and a little alcohol will help keep your vaporizer in the best possible shape, so you get the most out of your chosen vaporizer device.
